Natural breast implants

Many women wish they could increase the size of their chest without inserting an artificial silicone or saline implant. They may be worried about the possible negative health effects of implanting a foreign object into their chest, or think the idea of having artificial implants in their body is a bit unnerving. They may be worried that the implant will feel or look too unnatural. Fortunately, there is a more natural type of breast augmentation, and it is becoming increasingly popular among these patients.

Known as fat transfer breast augmentation, it uses the patient's own fat cells, not a silicone or saline implant, to increase the size of a woman's breasts. Also known as natural breast implants, the end result is breasts that look and feel exceptionally natural, since the fat injected into the breasts is as close in composition to natural breast tissue as possible.

The process of natural breast augmentation begins with liposuction to remove excess fat from a donor site on the patient's body, such as the thighs or stomach. Then, this fat is injected into the breast tissue. This procedure requires incisions measuring only about 1/8 to 1/4 inch, placed in several locations around the breast. This enables the surgeon to augment and sculpt the breasts without the need for long incisions.

Many women undergo natural breast augmentation because the shorter incisions and use of natural tissues results in a faster recover period. This procedure enables women to increase the size of their chest without implanting an artificial device, and without the possibility of complications such as extensive scarring or a ruptured implant.
